| Emotions, a poem by Michael Ian Black
When a loved one dies When a baby cries When a retard tries I'm not afraid to show emotion.
When my ball team wins When with dolphin I swims When they separate conjoined twins I'm not afraid to show emotion.
When people are slighted When wars are fighted When wrongs are unrighted I'm not afraid to show emotion.
Because I am a total fag. | comments: Leave a comment |
| | Would anyone in New York be willing to perhaps put up with a houseguest July 28-30th? The Del Close Marathon is that weekend, and granted I could scrounge up the money, I am just aching to see this. Upright Citizens Brigade and a ton of uber-hilarious people are doing back to back improv shows for 3 days straight. I'd be most grateful, and I'd even buy you a ticket...think about it... | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

| It is blizzarding like mad outside, so I'm hoping that I won't have to leave the apartment at all today.
Arrested Development ended on Friday. Top notch finale, went full circle. Loved it. Cried. It may seem like the least cry-worthy show, seeing as it's so hilarious, but copious amounts of wine made the tears flow freely. I kept thinking about what an intelligent and humorous writer Mitch Hurwitz was, and how he stuck with his original vision even after criticism that the show wasn't accessible to the lowest common denominator of television watchers. And look what it got him. Taste the sad. | comments: Leave a comment |

| i spend entirely too much time worrying about what i'm going to be doing after graduation.
i had two nightmares last night. i rarely have them. they put me on edge for the rest of the day. it was disconcerting.
tonight matt caplan is playing with josh kobak at crash mansion. i haven't seen them play in a long time. they are great and i'm so excited. does anyone care to join me?
i'm working on a sitcom pilot. it's a little corny, but i think it's actually soemthing i could finish this week.
i'm obsessed with comedy these days. stand-up, sketch, sitcom, internet humor...if you know of anything humorous, send it my way.
how is it already february? | comments: Leave a comment |

| Is anyone here in Civil Liberties? I'm going to have to miss class tonight because of a conflict with work, and I was wondering if someone could let me know what our readings for the next class were, and if there were any handouts?
Thank you so much! | comments: Leave a comment |

| and another winter break draws to a close.
what a deliciously lackluster break. i think i can classify the last four weeks as the most uninspired weeks of my life. which isn't necessarily a bad thing. when you've hit rock bottom you can only go up, right? i'm not talking about a real coke-addicted-sleeping-in-your-car-can't-find-a-job rock bottom, but a silly haven't-done-anything-but-watch-tv-and-check-my-email-in-pajamas rock bottom. getting dressed before noon will seem like such a novelty. and being around people my own age 24-7 will be good for me. i've regressed into my only-child habit of finding idiotic ways to entertain myself when no one else is around. i laughed when i said "doing it" yesterday. am i ten? | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |
